
The Eisenhower Dollar, produced from 1971 to 1976, featured a portrait of President Dwight D. Eisenhower on the obverse and a design of an eagle descending to the moon on the reverse for the 1971-1975 coins. The 1976 Eisenhower Dollar, minted as part of the Bicentennial series, featured a picture of the Liberty Bell on the reverse. The Eisenhower Dollar was minted at the Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco Mints.
