1942-1945 WWII Silver War Nickel

The "WWII Silver Nickels" or "Wartime Nickels" were Jefferson Nickels produced from 1942-1945 containing 35% silver to save nickel for the war effort. A distinguishing feature of these coins is a large mint mark located above Monticello on the reverse side.
