1916-1945 Mercury Dime

The 1916-1945 Winged Liberty Head Dime, also known as the Mercury Dime, was designed by Adolph Weinman and features a bust of Liberty wearing a winged cap. The mint mark, indicating where the coin was struck, is located on the reverse, below and to the left of the fasces (a bundle of rods tied together).
