The Morgan Silver Dollar, produced from 1878 to 1921, was a significant piece of U.S. currency, and mint marks indicate where they were struck. The mint mark, if present, is located on the reverse of the coin, beneath the wreath or eagle's talons, above the "DO" in "DOLLAR". If there's no mint mark, it signifies that the coin was minted in Philadelphia.
